Principal Dentist
Dr Maria Potocki graduated from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków in 2007, where she also worked as a Clinical Instructor in Restorative Dentistry. She has over 20 years’ overall experience, having worked in NHS and private practice across Poland, Germany, Sweden and the UK.
Maria focuses on minimally invasive, restorative and aesthetic dentistry, with particular interests in digital smile design, orthodontics and facial aesthetics. She holds a Certificate and Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and is trained in Invisalign, Same Day Smile, injectable composite and 3D veneers. She is also certified in facial aesthetics, including dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys travelling, skiing, staying active and spending time with her family.

Dr James Brandon qualified from Sheffield University in 1990. After 18 months in general practice in Birkenhead, he spent five years serving in the Royal Navy Dental Service. He went on to work in practices in Plymouth and Neston before moving to Bournemouth, where he completed the Paul Tipton Restorative Dentistry Course (2008) and the CADE Implant Course (2012).
James has been a valued member of the Deeside Dental team since 2012, delivering high-quality general and restorative dentistry.

Claire enjoys endodontics and is passionate about supporting nervous patients, providing calm, gentle and patient-focused care. Outside of dentistry, Claire is kept busy by her two young children and enjoys hiking, Pilates and the gym.

Ffion completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Studies with Cardiff University in 2009 and undertook Six Month Smiles orthodontic training in 2014.

James has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and is currently undertaking postgraduate training in oral surgery and dental implants.
Known for his gentle and caring approach, James is especially passionate about supporting anxious patients and children. He believes dentistry should be pain-free, positive and clearly explained, ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed and confident throughout their treatment.

After the initial consultation and checkup, we decided to go ahead with Boutique Whitening, and replacement of two older front crowns. The process was straightforward and explained carefully and at each step careful consideration for any changes were discussed thoroughly. The end results are lovely… two natural porcelain crowns (which enhance the aesthetic appearance greatly).
